All I Want For Christmas...

About ten days ago, U.S. Games sent me through the final proofs for the Celtic Lenormand companion book, as well as the box and cardbacks.  They've changed the cardbacks in a way which I think looks gorgeous: intricate, yet soft and glowing.  As for the companion book, they picked out my very favourite image from the whole deck to illustrate it, which made me dance with delight!

The best news, though, is that after working through a few minor corrections, the final proofs are now with the printers.  They'll take about three months to produce everything, and then there's the time to put it all together.  Still, it means the decks should be ready in time for Christmas!  Definitely the best Yule gift I will be getting...

    1. Glad you like it, Ellen! It's very different to what I had thought of, but I think it looks gorgeous, and it matches the detailing in the book, too :)
      Yep, it feels pretty good!
      Hugs to you, Cx

    1. It is a great feeling, Margo! :) I never realised how long these things take, as self-publishing is a lot faster. Still, I'm sure they'll be worth the wait!

  4. I posted an update at AT. I decided last year I just don't do lenormand, you know that saying do everything poorly or do one thing right? :) But I kept two that are personally special to me, and I'll be getting yours.
Congratulations to both of you on a job well done!

    1. Thanks for posting an update at AT, Sharyn. I don't get on there much, these days, and I'm not great at self-publicising, either :)
Maybe you'll decide to get into Lenormand again at some point. I enjoyed your Lenormand posts last year, but then, I'm not fanatical about doing everything the traditional way. I like knowing what that is, but it doesn't mean I then live by it :)

    1. Hi Melanie, it's due in shops in January 2015, last I heard. Sorry to miss Christmas, but maybe you could give them (or yourself) and IOU? :D
