Gone Fishin'?

This week, I decided to do something a little bit different.  Here are three cards I chose from my prototype Celtic Lenormand: Anchor, Book, Sun.  They represent why there is no 'Making Of' nor any new card backs to look at this week.  So, how would you read these? :)

  1. Will's on vacation ?
I know squat about lenormand rules but the anchor is not in the ocean but stuck in rocks on-shore.
The book is firmly closed, and the serene ocean seems like time off for both of you to refill the well of creativity.

    1. Hmm, Will might be on vacation, I'm not sure...

In the Lenormand system, there are keywords assigned to each card, and you make up sentences with them. Some keywords for these would be:

      Anchor - work, grounded, stable
      Book - project, knowledge, secrets
      Sun - energy, happiness, success
      :)

Still, I rather like your interpretation, and wish it was true ;)

  2. I would read it like this:

We already know a lot about this new lenormand, it will definitly be a succes, so some secrets should be kept (maybe in order to surprise us?). Also, it will be for sale soon, the secrets will be revealed then, therefore: No Making Of this week :-)

    1. Hi Frauke,

Well, I wish it was going to be on sale soon, but I'm guessing it'll be about six months still. However, I love your interpretation that it will be a success :D And yes, I'm keeping some secrets - there has to be a bit of a surprise when people actually get the deck in their hands!

    2. I know, patience isn't my strong suit, either :)

  3. I love how Lenormand can be so literal! Takes some getting used to after years spent with the tarot. I would read this as: working on a book of secrets which be successful. And if you mirror the anchor & sun long lasting success. The book in center position would suggest that all of your focus is on this project.
